Dress code

We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! That said, we are no royalty, so this time you can leave your ballgown or smoking in the wardrobe. Think cocktail dresses, midi dresses, chic jumpsuits, suits, or dress pants with a blazer (ties are optional). Keep it classy and wedding-appropriate. If you need inspiration, you can take a look at this article. All colors except for white are welcome, even black (this is Berlin after all).

FAQ

Plus one?

Generally, plus ones are already named on invitation envelopes. In case of more recent relationships, please contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate.

For a myriad of reasons, we are not expecting to receive any gifts. For instance, flying from across the Atlantic to be part of this moment is already a generous wedding gift. Also, we already had some help while establishing our home in Germany, and we are very grateful for it.

If giving us a gift is still important to you, we can accept contributions for a future trip. Please contact us for more information.

Gifts

Due to the limited size of our wedding venue, we are not able to generally extend the invitation to kids under 15 years old. If you think this policy might prevent you from coming, please contact us so we can try to work on a solution for you.

Children

Traveling from abroad? Please check out our recommendations of places to stay and things to do. We hope our wedding can also be a nice excuse for you to travel somewhere new.

Photography

We kindly ask that our ceremony is photographed primarily by our photographer. We'll gladly share these pictures with everyone when we receive them, but we ask guests to give the DSLR a break during this time.
